About Dr David Lin

Dr David Lin found his passion for general practice not long after commencing his medicine degree, enjoying aspects of holistic care and continuity in the local community. He has since graduated from UNSW with the Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMed) and Doctor of Medicine (MD), having also attained Fellowship recognition from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Lin has had the opportunity of working in the Hornsby Ku-Ring-gai Hospital network, Sydney Adventist Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Westmead Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Westmead. This includes experience with inpatient psychiatry at Adult Mental Health in Hornsby, as well as high-risk pregnancies with the Maternal-Foetal Medicine team in Westmead.

For special interest, Dr Lin has extended his skills through pursuing the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly Diploma of Child Health). He has also undertaken courses in skin cancer medicine, mental health skills training, Implanon insertion and yellow fever vaccination.

Dr David Lin is married to Priscilla who is a high school teacher. They have delightful children by the names of Esther and Lael.

In his spare time, Dr Lin likes spending time with his family, seeking the next gastronomic dining experience and playing keyboard for his local church band.

Born in Fu Zhou, Dr Lin subsequently migrated from China with his parents, completing his schooling in New Zealand and finally Australia. He can consult with intermediate mandarin and enjoys seeing patients of Chinese background.
